IT WAS ONE OF THOSE BAD MAMAJAMA DAYS!

"I have finished running all errands, and completed all the "yucky" stuff on my weekly To Do list! I've dreaded doing every single one of them!!!! Checking this stuff off my list has been painful. I don't like being a grown up! I'm going to listen to some praise music and hang out with Jesus reading my bible! I need to feel some love ♥ Geepers!"

That was my fb post on Thursday at the end of my work day. After listening to some MercyMe, Burlap Cashmere, Lindsey McCaul, and Todd Agnew my next post assured my friends I was back on track again. Ha!

"Well, now that that's over with...tee-hee! I'm on steady ground again!!!!!! Sometimes I miss myself, and I gotta find me, with the help of Jesus, in the midst of praise!"

But you know what, its not all that hard to comprehend what it's like when life gets crazy, and you don't know Jesus or that you can run to him and hang out, how people end up on the wrong paths. Praise music has the ability to move you from where you are to where God is. Being able to be like "the one who Jesus loves" and just lean into your relationship with him, and just let it all go, is a priceless gift for believers. Does God know how to work a plan or what!

I did a post earlier about not despising the Church or the religion of Christianity and I'm blogging again about the tools of Christianity-the religion and the Church. Cause here's the thing, the church and the religion of Christianity work hand in hand, in that they both teach you how to use the tools of the trade, shall we say. When I was little, I liked to work on cars with my dad. I'd be the one revving the motor behind the wheel of the car while in park, while my dad listened to the engine; the one handing tools under the car as he taught me the names of each tool and what task they performed; or the one under the hood with him as he check the levels of liquids that needed replenished. Christianity is where you learn all the tools you'll need to live out your life more abundantly, and the church is where you develop those tools, so that when life hits you hard, you know what tools to use and how to use them. For instance, when your funds are low, you make sure to not stop paying your tithes, and even to up your offerings. When life has sucked all your Spiritual energy, you turn on your praise music. When you are sick, you speak scriptures over the sickness, rebuke the sickness, and you speak healing over yourself. When in danger, you invoke a hedge of protection around yourself and others. When you are attacked by the forces of evil and darkness, you speak in the name of Jesus, and they all must bow down. You don't even have to raise your voice to invoke conviction. I recently discovered this, a normal voice will do. Its not how loud, but a simple demand backed by, "In the name of Jesus" that will do the job quite adequately. For it is not the decimal level that Satan is afraid of, but the name of Jesus, who he knows will back us up every time His name is called upon. That's why you can't let the bad behavior, or the ignorance of a few, who misrepresent Christ's church, or the religion of Christianity steal the blessings that God has provided for your good.

If you don't know you have the tools to make the forces of evil and darkness back down when they come into contact with you, or you don't use them, those forces will overwhelm you and make feel defenseless, hopeless, and suck the life that God meant for you to have right out you! Let us never, never, ever take for granted the tools Jesus died on the cross for, and left for us in this life walk we have committed to.

GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS, THE PRINCIPLES OF RECEIVING FROM GOD ARE UNIVERSAL

Is anything too hard for the Lord? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son.".http://bible.us/Gen18.14.ESV

Note how God is a god of His Word. Many years had passed since Abraham had requested proof that he would receive from God all that He had promised him, when God had made a covenant between Himself and Abraham. God made a special trip to visit Abraham in person, to let him know what the appointed time would be when Abraham would receive his heir that God had promised him.

This is an example of logistics. Abraham believed God, and God granted him his blessing based upon Abraham's faith. But Abraham's blessing did not manifest until God's appointed time. God has a long-term plan for us from the time we take our first breath up until we take our last breath.

The principles of receiving from God are universal. And He, God is no respecter of persons in releasing His blessings. This is a good thing. The key is to master His principles, and like anything else, practice achieves required results. To find out what His principles are you must read His manual-His written word. For how can you achieve a goal if you do not know what is required. To not do so, is like a shot in the dark. God watches over His Word when it is spoken. When it is backed by faith, what you pray for is released. When you release your faith, God releases your blessing, and not until. Its a principle. You can't get caught up in questioning if God will follow thru on His part, or is it God's will? If it is in God's Word, you are good to go on exercising your faith for it. Now there is such a thing as logistics, meaning there is a timetable for every prayer request. And like it or not, we must all adhere to God's timetable. God is all about excellence. Providing His best for us at the perfect time. God is not about any of us accepting second best, because we don't want to wait for the best. If we are at the end of our ledge, He will show up. Abraham and Sarah waited approximately 20 year for a blessing God said He would grant Abraham.

I really wish I were at the practice makes perfect stage. I'm still striving and learning God's principles like the rest of believers. Wish I were there already. I'll get there.

The question we have to ask ourselves is are we in a relationship with God or are we still trying God out? Are we still at the stage where we are taking God out for a test drive, or have we moved past that stage?

I am going to make a new start, and ask myself this hard question, and start taking responsibility for my side of my relationship with God. In Jeremiah 29:11, God makes His intentions toward me very clear. How clear am I with my intentions in my relationship with God?

IT IS FINISHED & I'M CELEBRATING BY DOING THE SNOOPY DANCE!

I just finished my one year in the bible this morning! Doing the Snoopy dance! One year ago today I started reading this particular bible plan. This is not my first year reading the bible thru and thru, but it is the first time I have enjoyed it as much. And it is the first year I done so without commentary included. So this year it all came together for me and past bible study and God. Such a cool feeling. Sometimes the verses stuck with me days and sometimes weeks, where God showed me ways in my own life how the verses applied. There is something about opening the door to God and allowing Him to walk thru the door of your soul and take up residence. It is life changing. Your whole being changes-your thoughts, your behavior, all go thru a process of making you more like Christ, but it not a feeling that you have somehow "made it" but instead you are "finding" your way to being more like Christ. But there is also a feeling that you are nowhere done yet! Gosh, God and His Son, and His Holy Spirit are all so good! So, yep, I'm going to start all over again, and do it once more. I think I will stick with the same plan, and see what God has to bring forth in me again. I get a second chance to understand the stuff I may have missed out on the first time. This is a life walk for me, and I am excited! Pray for me and I will do the same for you! Stay blessed and have a great day!

THE WEEKEND WITH THE PARENTS AND SISTA

Funny story told by my mom yesterday in the car ride to Aldis with just us girls, Sista and me. My great grandfather, Lewis, who raised my mother was a true farmer Brown! She said he would have loved talking plants and gardens with me. He would always grow a large patch of lettuce and onions and other vegetables. You've got to understand my great grandfather, as he has been described to me, he was competitive. Besides farming, and maintaining a garden, he also loved to fox hunt. Apparently, Brownfied had a group of fox hunters back in the day. Regardless of his race in those days, grandfather was allowed to fox hunt and was known to be good at it (different times and different ways back then). So that is who he was. Every year he and 2 or 3 of his buddies would compete to see who would show up at church first with a brown paper bag filled with lettuce and green onions from their garden! They were all farmers and they would plant their seeds, baby them the way I am doing mine, and then compete to see who could produce the first crop within their group! Mom had us laughing about her memories of how he tended to his lettuce and onion crop to be the first one at church with his bag full! Then she made my heart swell, she said, "Your great granddad and you would have had so much fun together babying those lettuce plants of yours! He always took great pride in his garden!" That is the first time she has ever told that story♥

As usual, dinner was at the parent's house Friday evening. Mom made the best chicken and dressing ever. Then Sista brought over her world famous veggie soup! And dad brought the drinks. I generally bring my appetite and a ready source of entertainment! Nothing too exciting other than watching dad open his RX drugs the VA had delivered to the house. The VA has him set up to where he doesn't have to go to the pharmacy anymore. He did read off all his prescriptions as he unpacked them though, that was sort of exciting-not! If anything else exciting happened, I was not aware of it since I went up front and laid on the couch for a nap. I was sleepy last night. I did dream I heard the door bell and yelled out to Dad someone was at the door. Bless his heart after he finally got to the door, he determined that I dreamt it, since he still hadn't gotten around to changing the battery! Oh well! My bad! That's about as exciting as it got, that I know of! Lol

I decided to post a synopsis of what happened last weekend that was on the funny side. As you can tell, I am very blessed to have a wonderfully fun family. Come back and visit again, and this flowerchic will see what she can come up with to entertain, make you think, or LOL!
